101 Project One

This would have to be one of the projects I have enjoyed the most so far. We had to pick a word relating to Design ( I chose IDENTITY can you tell?? ) and write it out on our choice of 'grid' using our own choice of 'thread'.

I wanted to use a thread that can show someones personality or identity (things like shoes, cell phone covers, and jewelery came to mind) and scarfs just seemed like a nice simple option. Then I had to take three photos of my compostition showing different views, and edit them.

Blog Skins

Anyone here who is new to this whole blogging thing...heres a site that you can get awsome skins for your pages. Not really suitable for anyone wanting something original (look at the amount of times each has been downloaded!) but they have inspired me for the next part of the assignment. I stumbled across this blog page a couple of years ago and I've always found it so interesting to look through when you're wasting spare time on the net!
Her amazing collages and prints are just so inspiring and uplifting. Admittedly her work has nothing to do with my area of interest but still a great read.
